Dr. Charles M. Taylor III, DDS
With more than four decades of orthodontic excellence, Dr. Charles Taylor brings a legacy of expertise to every patient he serves. A proud Abilene native and Cooper High School graduate, Dr. Taylor earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Texas at Austin before completing his dental training at Baylor College of Dentistry and advanced orthodontic training at the University of Southern California.
As a second-generation orthodontist and Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics, Dr. Taylor has served on numerous professional boards and foundations. He is known for his precision, attention to detail, and dedication to delivering beautiful results through evidence-based care.
Dr. Charles M. Taylor III, DDS owned the practice, formerly known as Taylor Orthodontics from 1987 to 2025, building a reputation in the cities of Abilene and Sweetwater as a personable orthodontic practice loved by West Texas patients and their families. In December 2025, ownership was transferred to Dr. Simi Mathur Martin, where the business is now under the name Mathur & Taylor Orthodontics.
Outside the office, Dr. Taylor enjoys spending time with his family, exercising and going to the gun range.
